  • Week lets – Friday/Saturday changeover, usually
    Where short breaks are available, 2-night minimum stay & entry day variable depending on availability. NB Easter, Xmas and New Year, 3-night minimum stay
  • Payment by cheque  or bacs by arrangement.  We are now able to take card payments over the phone by arrangement.  There will be a small charge of 2.5% of the amount being paid to cover this service.
  • Please always check by phone or email if dates are available – do not send payment until confirmed
  • Once we have confirmed your chosen dates are available we will hold them for a maximum of 10 days to allow your deposit to reach us
  • A non-returnable deposit of 25% of the rental fee is required with the booking, the balance due 1 month before you arrive
  • Please make cheques payable to Barnhill Lettings and send to the address below.
  • Payment in full is required one month prior to your stay. If booking less than one month prior to your stay, payment is required in full at time of booking
  • For short breaks we would appreciate payment in full at time of booking
  • Linen, towels and fuel costs are inclusive
  • Strictly no smoking within or around the lodge0
  • Sorry, no pets allowed
  • Arrival from 4pm, earlier may be possible by arrangement only

Breakages

Please let us know as soon as possible if any breakage or damage occurs.

Car Parking

Bluebell Lodge & Laurel Lodge each has its own parking space for 2 cars in front of lodge. No responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to vehicles whilst on the property.

Pets

Visitors are not allowed pets in Bluebell Lodge nor Laurel Lodge.

Cancellation

If you have to cancel your holiday after the balance has been paid, not less than four weeks before the start of your holiday, the balance will only be refunded if the holiday is re-let; the deposit is non refundable. We do not provide insurance against this or against loss or injury while you are on holiday and you should approach your own insurance broker if you consider this advisable. If you find it necessary to cancel your holiday, please let us know as soon as possible.

Cleaning

The lodge will be clean on your arrival and you are requested to treat the lodge and its contents with care and leave it clean on your departure. Please strip the beds you have used and leave the linen/towels in the bath.

Heating

Please use heating sensibly, turning the thermostat and radiators down/ any electric fires etc off when not needed.

Towels

The towels provided are for use in the lodge only; do not take them to the beach or use them in the garden. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the lodge.

No Smoking in or around the lodge

No pets allowed in either lodge

Booking conditions

1. No subletting is permitted without written consent from the owner.
2. The owner/manager reserves the right to enter the lodge at any reasonable time for inspection, repairs, etc.
3. Charges are fully inclusive. There are no extra charges for gas/electricity. The owners reserve the right to charge for breakages, loss or damage. Tenants should report any deficiency which they notice on arrival, and any which occur during their visit as soon as possible.
4. The owners reserve the right to charge for cleaning if the lodge is left dirty. The lodge will have been thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival and tenants are requested to leave it in a like condition.
5. Time is required between tenancies in order to clean the house before the tenants arrive. Occupation of the apartment will be given at 4 pm on the first day of the let. The lodge must be vacated by 10.30 am on the last day of the let. An extra day’s rent may be charged if the tenants do not leave on time.
